The Construction Management course teaches you how to use Dalux’s tools within a best-practice setup tailored for efficient project execution.

In this standard Dalux setup, the Construction Management team, Subcontractors, and Design Team collaborate to manage tasks, track progress, and uphold contractual obligations through streamlined communication and documentation.

Note: This course is based on a typical scenario where a General Contractor engages Subcontractors to perform on-site work. Depending on the contract structure, the term “Subcontractor” may also refer to a “Specialist Contractor” or simply a “Contractor.”

Request for Information

The Subcontractor can use the “Request for information” to escalate issues to the Construction Management, about unclear drawings or specifications.

Capture

The Capture module allows you to link photos and locations, so they are easier to retrieve later on.

Test Plans

The Subcontractor's Test plan outlines how quality and process controls will be implemented for their work package.

Quality Issues

Quality Issues (QUA) are used to communicate deviations from planned work.

Site Meeting

Recurring meetings between the Construction Management and Subcontractors to address issues.

Defects

Project close-out can be stressful, but defects are easily registered during inspections using the app, with data saved for efficient follow-up.w-up.
